Will They Ever Learn?

Brandweek reports on recent efforts by retail giant Target to manipulate their image on the web.  Goldman&Associates strongly believes that participating in social networking and encouraging word of mouth referrals are critical steps to building and sustaining a brand in the digital age.  The tricky part is to find ways to make it organic.  It’s easy enough to start a blog or a Facebook page, but it’s more difficult to cultivate an audience and make them trust you or your business enough to tell their friends about you.
