Some interesting comments by a former New York Times reporter and the founder of the Huffington Post at a get-together at Yale University, as reported by the Yale Daily News. Thirty-year NYT veteran Linda Greenhouse, who has won the Pulitzer Prize, said part of the reason she left the paper was the requirement that she start doing more reporting just for the online version of the Times. Arianna Huffington, whose Huffington Post is now comprised of nearly 30-percent original content, says digital journalism is “still working out the rules of the road” on such journalistic issues as libel.
