Media-Wise, Current Prez More Successful Than the Last Two in his First 100 Days

While the news media is dissecting President Obama’s first 100 days in office, a new study examines how the media have covered the prez since he took office.  According to the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism, reporting on President Obama has been signicantly more positive in tone that it was during the first 100 days on the job for the two presidents before him.  One reason, according to the study: ” The data suggest the current president has managed the media narrative … by responding to the economic crisis with so many new proposals and doing so many events that it has been hard for both his critics and the media to keep up.”  PR practitioners will recognize this strategy …
