Stephanie Slater handles media relations, crisis management, new media, and other public relations work for a variety of Goldman’s clients. Slater is a retired United States Navy journalist, combat videographer and public information officer; her most recent position was as department manager for Combat Camera in Norfolk. She has served as a reporter for the Armed Forces Network in Puerto Rico and Armed Forces Southern European Broadcasting. Key assignments included managing public affairs for the U.S. Southern Command’s “Partnership for the Americas” humanitarian mission in 12 Latin American and Caribbean nations; supervising the Armed Forces Radio Network’s emergency broadcasting during Hurricane Georges in 1998; and serving as a videographer documenting humanitarian efforts following the 1999 Venezuelan mudslides.
